This tour is about the architecture and building styles. You will learn about the different styles and their characteristics that can be seen in Dresden, going into detail. You will get to know the versatility of the architectural styles of the churches, the Royal Palace and the Zwinger as well as the public buildings and town houses. 

You will also hear about the construction history of the buildings and about urban development and urban planning in earlier times. 

Another topic in this tour is the process of rebuilding Dresden after the devastation of the war and the associated, sometimes controversial, discussions and decisions. 

This tour can also be easily combined with a bus sightseeing tour (with your own coach or minibus), in which you can see a lot of 19th century architecture and Art Nouveau buildings.
